Terms of Use

These Terms explain how you may use the FramePrompts library, prompts and preview materials, and the rules that protect the service and its community.

Privacy PolicyTerms of UseCookie Policy

Effective date: 13 September 2026 · Last updated: 13 September 2026

The prompt-use licence below is separate from rights in preview images and from any rights in outputs you create with a third-party AI service.

1. About FramePrompts and these Terms

FramePrompts is a free public library of AI prompts for designers and creative professionals, available at frameprompts.com. It is operated by Denys Holovatiuk, operating FramePrompts, based at Smoluchowskiego 5, 02-679 Warsaw, Poland (“FramePrompts”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

By accessing or using FramePrompts, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you use FramePrompts for an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation. You must be at least 16 to use the service; if you are not legally able to enter into these Terms on your own, a parent or legal guardian must approve your use.

2. The service

You may browse, search and copy prompts without registering or paying. We may add, change, reorganise, suspend or discontinue prompts, categories or features. We do not promise that any particular prompt or feature will remain available.

Public user accounts, comments, subscriptions and payments are not currently offered. If we introduce them, additional or updated terms may apply and will be presented before use where required.

3. Licence to use individual prompts

Subject to these Terms, and only to the extent that FramePrompts owns or is entitled to license the relevant rights, we grant you a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to copy, adapt and use an individual prompt obtained from the library in personal or commercial projects. You may combine it with your own instructions and use it with an AI service of your choice.

You may share a reasonable number of individual prompts as part of genuine creative work, teaching, commentary or collaboration, provided you do not misrepresent their source or reproduce a substantial part of the library. Attribution to FramePrompts is appreciated but is not required for use of a prompt unless the prompt page clearly states a specific attribution condition.

This licence applies to the text of an individual prompt. It does not transfer ownership of the FramePrompts brand, site design, database, editorial metadata or preview images, and it does not guarantee that a prompt is protected by copyright or other exclusive rights in every jurisdiction.

4. Preview images and AI outputs

Preview images

Preview images are supplied to demonstrate possible results. Unless a prompt page expressly says otherwise, you may view them through the service but may not download, reproduce, sell, redistribute, use them in your own product or marketing, or present them as your work. Contact contact@frameprompts.com if you want a separate image licence.

Some previews may include or refer to third-party brands solely as illustrative examples of a creative technique. Those brands, logos and other identifiers belong to their respective owners. Their appearance does not mean that the brand owner created, approved, sponsored or endorsed FramePrompts or the preview, and it does not grant you permission to use the brand in your own work.

Your generated outputs

FramePrompts does not claim ownership of outputs you generate independently through a third-party AI service merely because you used a prompt from this library. Your ability to own, protect or commercially use an output depends on applicable law, the relevant AI provider’s terms, the material you supplied and the output itself. Laws concerning AI-generated material differ and continue to develop.

You are responsible for reviewing outputs before use, including for potentially protected characters, logos, trade dress, likenesses, personal data or other third-party material. Nothing on FramePrompts is a guarantee that any output is original, non-infringing, registrable, or safe for commercial use.

5. Third-party AI services

Prompt pages may name tools such as GPT Image, Midjourney, Gemini/Nano Banana or other services to indicate where a prompt may work well. Those services are controlled by third parties. Their models, safety systems, pricing and terms may change, and they may produce different results from the same prompt.

You must comply with the terms, licences, usage policies and age restrictions of every AI service you use. FramePrompts does not guarantee access to any third-party service, acceptance of a prompt, or a result matching a preview.

FramePrompts is independent and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by or part of OpenAI, Google, Midjourney, any brand depicted in a preview, or any other provider or company mentioned on the site unless a page expressly states otherwise. Product names, model names, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

6. Our intellectual property and database rights

Except for content owned by contributors or third parties, FramePrompts and its licensors retain their rights in the FramePrompts name and branding, site design, software, editorial selection and arrangement, categories, descriptions, metadata, original text and images. The collection may also be protected by copyright and EU database rights.

The individual-prompt licence in section 3 does not permit you to:

  • copy, extract, download or republish all or a substantial part of the library;
  • repeatedly extract smaller parts in a way that reconstructs or substitutes for the library;
  • scrape, crawl or use automated means against the service without our prior written permission, except for standard search-engine indexing that follows our published technical instructions;
  • clone the site or use the collection to build a competing or substantially similar prompt library, dataset, feed, product or resale service;
  • sell or sublicense the prompts as a standalone collection, prompt pack or database; or
  • remove rights notices, evade access controls, interfere with the service or conceal the source of copied library content.

Nothing in these Terms restricts rights that cannot lawfully be restricted, including applicable quotation, criticism, review or other statutory exceptions.

7. Acceptable use

You may not use FramePrompts, its content or its infrastructure to:

  • break the law, facilitate illegal activity, or violate another person’s rights;
  • infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity or data-protection rights;
  • commit fraud, deceive people, impersonate another person, or create a false endorsement;
  • create, distribute or facilitate malware, credential theft, unauthorised access or other harmful technical activity;
  • generate or distribute content that unlawfully exploits or endangers children, unlawfully threatens violence, or is otherwise illegal;
  • probe, overload, disrupt or bypass the service’s security or rate limits; or
  • use the service in a way that exposes confidential information or personal data without an appropriate legal basis.

These rules do not prohibit lawful artistic, educational, documentary, security-research or journalistic activity merely because its subject is sensitive.

8. Contributor submissions

This section applies if FramePrompts invites you to submit prompts, images or related material (“Contributor Content”). Public submissions are not currently available. A separate written contributor agreement may supplement these Terms; if it conflicts with this section, the separate agreement controls for that submission.

You keep your rights

You retain the rights you have in your original Contributor Content. We do not take ownership merely because you submit it.

Licence to FramePrompts

You grant FramePrompts a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, format, adapt for technical and editorial presentation, publish, publicly display, communicate, distribute and promote Contributor Content through FramePrompts and its official promotional channels. The licence includes creating thumbnails, crops, previews, SEO snippets, structured data and Open Graph/social previews, and allowing our infrastructure providers to process the content for these purposes.

The licence lasts while the content is available through FramePrompts and for a reasonable wind-down period after removal. Copies may remain temporarily in caches and backups. We may retain a restricted archival copy and related records where reasonably necessary for legal compliance, disputes, fraud prevention and proof of permissions. Any broader or paid syndication requires separate permission unless agreed with you.

Your promises

You confirm that you have all rights and permissions needed to submit the content and grant this licence, including for text, images, trademarks, identifiable people and other included material. You must disclose required attribution and material licence restrictions before publication.

AI-generated or AI-assisted content is permitted only if the relevant tool’s terms allow your submission and our intended use. You must accurately disclose AI assistance if requested and must review the material for third-party rights. Do not submit confidential material, trade secrets, unnecessary personal data, or another person’s protected work without permission.

Editorial decisions

We may edit titles, descriptions, categories, keywords, metadata, formatting, previews and crops while preserving the substance of the work. We may reject, limit visibility of, or remove content for quality, safety, legal, technical or editorial reasons. Where applicable law requires it, we will explain a restriction and provide a review route.

Credit

Contributor credit will be shown using the name supplied by the contributor, and a link where agreed, if the contributor requests or approves public attribution. You must tell us if a third-party licence requires a particular credit.

9. Reporting illegal or infringing content

If you believe specific content on FramePrompts is illegal or infringes your rights, send a notice to contact@frameprompts.com. To help us locate and assess it, include:

  1. your name and email address, unless law permits an anonymous notice;
  2. the exact URL and a clear description of the material;
  3. why you believe it is illegal or infringing, including the relevant right or legal rule;
  4. supporting evidence and, for an intellectual-property claim, identification of the protected work and your authority to act; and
  5. a good-faith statement that the information in the notice is accurate and complete.

We will handle sufficiently precise notices in a timely, diligent and objective manner. We may request more information, restrict or remove content, preserve evidence where lawful, and notify the contributor of our decision where appropriate. Knowingly false or abusive notices may violate these Terms or the law.

If your content is restricted, or if you disagree with the outcome of a notice, you may request review at the same email and explain why the decision should change. If and when the EU Digital Services Act applies to hosted Contributor Content, this process is intended to serve as the electronic notice-and-action channel; we will provide any additional statement-of-reasons, complaint, contact-point or redress mechanisms required for our classification and size.

10. External links

The service may link to third-party websites, tools or resources. A link is provided for convenience and does not mean that we endorse or control the third party. We are not responsible for its availability, content, security, terms or privacy practices.

11. Disclaimer

FramePrompts and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not make warranties that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that prompts and related information will be accurate, suitable, original, non-infringing or fit for a particular purpose.

Prompts are creative starting points, not legal, professional or technical advice. You remain responsible for how you use a prompt and any resulting output. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or consumer remedy that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FramePrompts will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or special loss, loss of profit, revenue, data, goodwill or opportunity arising from use of or inability to use the service, prompts, previews, outputs or third-party services.

Where liability may lawfully be limited, our total liability arising from the free service will not exceed the greater of EUR 100 and the amount you paid us for the relevant service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

These limits do not apply to liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability for wilful misconduct, fraud, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable. They also do not reduce mandatory rights available to consumers under EU or national law.

13. Restriction or termination

We may block, restrict or terminate access where we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, created security or legal risk, abused the service, or where suspension is necessary for maintenance or compliance. We will act proportionately and provide notice and reasons where reasonably possible and legally required. Provisions that by their nature should survive—including intellectual-property, disclaimer, liability and dispute provisions—remain effective after termination.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the service, law, security or business practices. The updated Terms will be posted here with a revised date. For material changes affecting registered users or contributors, if such features exist, we will provide reasonable advance notice where required. Changes do not retroactively remove rights already granted for prompts you lawfully used before the change.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Polish law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts having jurisdiction under Polish procedural law will hear disputes.

If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of mandatory protections provided by the law of the country where you habitually reside. You may bring proceedings in any court available to you under mandatory consumer law, and we may bring proceedings against you only where applicable mandatory rules permit. Before filing a claim, you may contact contact@frameprompts.com so we can try to resolve the issue informally.

16. General terms

If a provision is found unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our consent; we may transfer ours as part of a legitimate reorganisation or transfer of the project, without reducing mandatory consumer rights.
